Balloon modelling and balloon event decor business, Balloon Artworks, reports that their ice-princess and frozen children's parties have been a best-seller since the Ripley-based business launched last year.

Balloon artist and owner owner of Balloon Artworks, Melanie Allen, says,

"Thanks to the enduring popularity of animated films, the ice-princess theme is still incredibly popular and princesses lend themselves so well to being sculpted from balloons.

"The children adore watching us create their favourite characters before their eyes - not just the princesses but other characters, such as goofy snowmen and even reindeer. All from balloons."

For one event, Melanie was even commissioned to create a life-size ice princess standing over 5 feet tall.
Melanie again, "The birthday girl just couldn't take her eyes off the sculpture.  She was completely mesmerized and it was as though the princess had stepped out of the TV screen and was standing in front of her.  It's moments like this that make this job even more special - that little girl is never going to forget her birthday party."
